Bangladeshi Black Forest Cake

Black forest cake is the most popular cake in Bangladesh. But with availability of ingredients and taste bud of Bangladeshi people Bangladeshi Black Forest Cake is quite different than original Black Forest cake. Cherry is only used in decoration (not inside layer). In Bangladesh Butter cream is used in Black Forest Cake. Though I prefer whipped cream, I am adding both (butter cream and whipped cream) recipe.

Mustard leaf Mash / Rai Sorisha Shak Bhorta / Lai Shak Bhorta is traditional food of Sylhet. Yellow mustard / Rai Sorisha is called Lai by the local people of Sylhet. Here mustard leaf / Rai Sorisha Shak is used raw in this recipe which is very unusual in Bangladeshi cooking.
