You can cook it in oven, but to make it more convenient I did on pan. It is a beautiful dish with full of flavour. Only trick in this recipe is marinating part. Most(only) used meat tenderizer is green papaya paste which is used in this recipe. You can use any meat tenderizer by your choice. If you want to use oven to cook this recipe, after frying the leg add rest of ingredients and cook 5 minutes, pre heat oven on 180̊ C, place the leg with gravy into a baking tray and bake 60-90 minutes or till meat becomes tender. You can use lamb leg instead of mutton.
