Red velvet cake is originally from USA. This gorgeous cake goes very well in valentine day, anniversary or birthday. I was not very keen to upload this recipe because of not very Bangladeshi. I got lots of requests for this. That’s why I am giving it.

Alur chop / potato fritter is a simple delicious snack. We make it several ways with stuffing of egg or prawn / without stuffing and dip in besan(chickpeas flour) \ dip in egg and roll in bread crumb (too many twists). The interesting fact is the taste of different types of Alur chop / potato fritter so different. It even differs on uses of dry chilli and green chilli or fried onion or fresh onion. I will give two ways of simple Alur chop / potato fritter recipes today.

Koi Macher Paturi / Steamed Fish Wrap

Koi Macher Paturi / Steamed Fish Wrap is a unique fish dish. Fish is wraped with bottle gourd or pumpkin leaves and steamed. I used tradition climbing perch and mustard oil; but you can make it with your choice fish and vegetable oil. If you don’t want to steam it you can pan fry it with 2 tablespoon oil and water under closed lid.
